“Purple” Tomato Extended Lives of Cancer-Prone Mice

SUNDAY, Oct. 26 (HealthDay News) — Tomatoes genetically modified to be rich in antioxidants called anthocyanins appeared to extend the life spans of cancer-prone mice, a European study finds. Anthocyanins are the same phytochemicals found in abundance, in acai berries.

So the moral of the story, is to eat plenty of non-genetically modified purple fruit such as acai (Absolute Acai and Acai Max) and blueberries.  Dr. E
