Hi…Could you tell me how goji juice helps to combat diabetes and also how much a person should take of the juice in order to maintain good health.
I would also like to know what percentage of goji juice is contained in one bottle as compared to the other juices. Thanks so much.
Carmen
Carmen,
In a nut shell, 2 studies I have read found that the antioxidants and Polysaccharides contained in the Lycium barbarum berry helped with insulin sensitivity and also lowered blood sugar. Studies suggest 8-30 grams of goji berries per day (a hand full) or up to 8oz of CAOH’s Goji Juice.
CAOH’S is 60% Goji Juice. I can’t answer the last part because we are the only company I know of that discloses that information, to the public, in writing.
Treating diabetes is takes multi-faceted approach with lycium barbarum (goji) possibly being one facet.
Sincerely,
Dr. E
