I am 42 but feel like 18

strongmanQuestion: Doctor, I am a 44 year old male 5 foot 10 inches and 175 pounds. I exercise regularly. I Weight train 3 days a week and cardio three days a week. I recently had my body fat measured at the local gym and it was at 15%. At that same time they took my blood pressure and it came in at a surprise to me 140 over 100. I have since been to my doctor who is a Bio- identical hormone replacement therapist and my readings have all been fairly high as in the 140 over 90 range. Now I am a self confessed salt-aholic. I love salt. I used it on everything. I even suck on rock salt while I work. I have stopped using salt completely over the last two weeks and try to keep my intake in foods that I eat below the 1500 level. I take hawthorn berry as well as cayenne pepper and CoQ10. I take a good multi vitamin and calcium also. I own a very busy fine dinning restaurant and have a lot of stress which I am getting under control. My blood pressure is coming down. In the morning it is 120 over 70. By the end of the day it is usually in the 130 over 85 range and most of the time slightly lower. My question is do you have a specific product that addresses high blood pressure so that I don’t have to swallow the 30 pills I am taking in the morning? My wife suffers from Adrenal Fatigue. Do you have any specific products to address that? Thank you for your time. Patrick

Answer: Patrick, I am 42 years old, 5’9″, 175 lbs. My wife is a personal trainer and we built a 260sqft gym at our house. I have two businesses, a wife and two kids and tons of stress. My blood pressure can be high at times also. It sound like were twins.

Here is what I do as a daily routine. It is designed to balance all aspects of my body. My wife and I follow the same program with some minor differences. I have tons of energy, rarely get sick, my skin looks younger than my age and my blood tests have been perfect for as long as I have taken them. Here goes and please share.

My morning shake:

  1. 8 oz: water
  2. 3/4 cup total: (Tader Joe’s) frozen raspberry, blue berries and strawberries
  3. 1 tablespoon each: flax seed oil (omega 3’s), wheat germ oil (the best source of natural Vitamin E) and CAOH’s Ultra Supreme Greens.
  4. 1 teaspoon: molecularlly distilled fish oil (source of EPA/DHA), CAOH’s Liquid B-complex and Liquid CoQ10
  5. 1 oz: CAOH’s Noni Juice, Mangosteen Elixir or Goji Juice
  6. 1 oz: Liquid Power Multi-V
  7. 1 scoop: CAOH’s Ultra Whey Protein

BLEND AND DRINK

Some of the supplements I take during the day are:

CAOH’s Super Power (Digestive) Enzymes one with each meal and Now Foods triple lecithin caps (3 day)

Right now I am doing a cleanse, so to speak. I am having the above shake for breakfast and 2 more during the day minus the oils and Liquid Power Multi-V. I am doing this for one week. I have lost 5 lbs since Monday and feel great. I don’t even miss my coffee.

Salt is not bad in small amounts. Switch to kosher or sea salt and NEVER use standard table salt.

Sincerely,

Marcus Ettinger BSc, DC

Comment: Marcus, I think you are right about the twins. We also put in a gym almost that exact same size in our home. I also look years younger than I am and would like to keep it that way. I did fudge a little on my height. I’m five  foot nine and a half. Thank you so much for your quick response. I am going to place an order for all products listed.
Thanks again. Patrick
